Welcome to Christian Fellowship School
Christian Fellowship School is a ministry of Christian Fellowship in Du Quoin, Illinois, affiliated with Velocity Church and WCFSLPFM radio.
Christian Fellowship School is dedicated to a private, non-denominational, non-profit Christian school offering a program of high academic and spiritual standards to all families. The teachers at Christian Fellowship School are dedicated professional educators who fully recognize their responsibility before God in helping every student mature and conform to the image of Christ. The school is registered with the Illinois State Board of Education as a State Recognized Non-public School. The high school (grades nine through 12) is an Illinois High School Association approved school. Christian Fellowship School is approved by the Federal Government to enroll non-immigrant foreign students in grades kindergarten through twelve.
Christian Fellowship School believes that the school's responsibility is to support parents in their role of "training up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6 NKJV)
CFS is an air-conditioned building sitting on 16 acres of grassy fields surrounded by a large variety of trees and flora that give students access to an outdoor laboratory
Christian Fellowship School has the choice of all day or half day Pre-Kindergarten (K-3 and K-4) and Kindergarten through 12th grade. Bible classes and academic subjects are taught from a Christian perspective. The extra-curricular and programs (currently including basketball, volleyball, cheerleading and trapshooting) are in the process of rebuilding. CFS high school students who are making satisfactory progress in their class at CFS are encouraged to further enhance their academic experience by taking college level coursed through dual enrollment at a community college (John A. Logan College or Rend Lake College) or through an online university program.
If you are interested in Christian Fellowship School and a Christian education with a Christian worldview, please contact the school at 618-542-6800 or sdavis@cfsdqil.org to schedule a visit or receive an information packet with registration form.
Non-discrimination Statement
Christian Fellowship School admits students of any race, color, gender, religion, national or ethnic background, disability, or immigration status to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. As required by Federal law, Christian Fellowship School does not exclude students on the basis of immigration status. The school does not discriminate on any of the afore-stated conditions in the administration of educational policies, athletic programs, extracurricular activities, or any other school administered programs. The school board does, however, recognize the limitations of the school facilities and educational program offerings with respect to students with special needs. When it is apparent that accommodations for those needs are beyond the limitations of the school, the school administration will advise the student's parents that their child would be better served through another entity. Parents of non-Christian faiths and any of their children attending CFS should be aware that the school staff will actively and persistently work to win each child to Christ while respecting their dignity as unique creations of God.
The philosophy of the school is based upon scriptural principles as set forth in The Holy Bible. The primary purpose of the school's ministry is to lead people to Christ. The subsequent purpose is to help each Christian grow in his or her relationship with God,
being submitted to His will and His commandments. In keeping with the character of Christ, the school goes beyond teaching "tolerance" toward the goal of helping each believer build an attitude of Christ-like love.
