| Christian Fellowship PTF The CFS PTF has been working with Christian Fellowship Church this summer to help make several improvements to the school facilities. The parking lot has been resurfaced, the Fellowship Hall floor has been refinished, and we are in the process of adding the gymnasium and Fellowship Hall to the school’s automatic fire alarm system. Funds from PTF fundraisers such as the silent auction at the chicken and dumpling dinner have been a great help in making these projects possible. We still need people to help with work on the school playgrounds; painting, repairing swings, etc. If you can help at any time please call the school office and let us know. The first PTF meeting for the 2010-2011 school year is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1 in the school lunch room. The involvement of every teacher and every parent will be a great help in continuing to make CFS everything God has purposed for it to be. Two New Academic Programs For High School Students Christian Fellowship School is pleased to announce the adoption of two new academic programs for high school students: a three-year graduation plan, and a reduced-tuition senior year plan. A student who is admitted to and completes the three-year graduation program will graduate and receive his or her diploma at the end of the junior year. Those enrolled in the reduced-tuition senior program will take classes at CFS and through an area community college or on-line university. This program requires freshman (ninth grade) admission and makes it possible for a student to earn a high school diploma and an associate’s degree at the same time. In order to be enrolled in either of these programs students must meet a set of requirements which incorporate the nationally recommended college preparatory core credits and Illinois School Code requirements. The school is able to offer these programs, in part, by virtue of the fact that it is the only state recognized pre-K through 12th grade non-public in the southern
