Three, Four and Five Year Old Kindergarten Programs

The small classrooms (a maximum of 20 students) and closed campus will provide your precious child with a safe and secure environment for learning and establishing relationships.
Kindergarten at Christian Fellowship school consists of phonics-based three and four-year-old morning pre-school classes which can be supplemented with an optional afternoon session and a full-day kindergarten class for five-year-olds.
While extensive instruction in the basics of reading and mathematics are a major portion of the K3-K5 curriculum, the primary focus of the pre-school program is to guide each student in developing as a young man or woman of integrity; having a vibrant relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ, and experiencing the joy of learning.
Three-year-old Kindergarten is the beginning point of our ministry. Each three-year-old starts their day with the basic Bible teachings using patriotic songs, hymns, memory verses and prayer time. Number and letter recognition, language development, and arts and crafts will give these little ones a full day.
Four-year-old Kindergarten uses a Bible-based curriculum with exposure to God's principles in simple Bible stories that apply to your child's everyday life, providing moral and ethical training at a young age. The alphabet is learned through Bible memory verses.
The daily schedule includes phonics, writing, numbers and language development, along with story time, activities, snack and recess. Some will learn to read, some count to 100, and write their names in cursive---but all will have FUN!
Five-year-old Kindergarten continues many of the skills introduced in K-4. Please note however, that K-4 attendance is not mandatory for enrollment in K-5. The curriculum stresses Bible, with the alphabet memory verses; phonics and reading; cursive writing; math, including time and money; science; and social studies of our community, country and world. Computers are introduced at this level. Much excitement and preparation surround the end of the year graduation program where students exhibit the skills learned during the year. It is not uncommon for Christian Fellowship School K5 graduates to perform at second grade level in many academic areas.
Optional full-day classes are available for K3 and K4. The afternoon sessions reinforce the skills introduced during the morning sessions, along with story time, a play period and a rest period.
