CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP SCHOOL
Registration and Tuition Information 2008-9

REGISTRATION

The registration fee is $125.00 per student and is non-refundable and non-transferable. For families with more than one student the total fee is $150.00. This fee covers insurance, testing materials, and record handling costs. The registration fee is due when the application for admission is turned in.

 TUITION

Tuition is $2595.00/year for each student. The optional half day rate for students enrolled in K3 & K4 is $1960.00. CFS tuition is paid through FACTS Business Solutions, a tuition collecting service. Families may choose one of the following payment plans:

A. Full Payment. Under this plan, the entire tuition amount is paid at the school office. A tuition reduction of $100.00 will be applied to the tuition cost of each student whose account is paid in full prior to July 1, 2008. A $75.00 discount applies for K3 & K4 half day accounts paid by July 1.

B. Monthly Payments. Under this plan, the entire amount of tuition is paid monthly over a ten (10) month period beginning in July through the FACTS Tuition Management Plan. This plan is an automatic payment plan made through a checking or savings account. Those choosing this plan must complete a FACTS agreement form authorizing the automatic monthly payments on either the 5 or 20 of each month. The final payment is due in April.

C. Credit, Debit or Check Card Payment may be made through FACTS with a 2 ½ % convenience fee. To set up this payment option the payer must call FACTS at (800) 233-1096.

D. Parents may choose a Monthly Billing/Invoice from FACTS payable by check or money order. Payments will be due on the first of each month starting July 1 through April 1. (Semi-annual or other intervals are also possible.)

In order for FACTS to process paperwork and parents to make 10 payments the following deadlines will apply regarding parents’ completion of the FACTS agreement:

Invoice Method – May 12, 2008

Automatic Withdrawal – June 5, 2008 for withdrawal on the 5th of each month June 23, 2008 for withdrawal on the 20th of each month.

It should be stressed that FACTS agreement forms need to be completed at the school office before the deadlines above in order to spread payment out over 10 months. Final payment is due in April. A late start means fewer payments each of a larger amount.

LATE REGISTRATIONS

A. Families registering after July 1 will pay according to the tuition policy previously stated. The balance will be divided into payments with the final payment due in April.

B. Tuition for students registering after the first day of school shall be prorated over the number of attendance days remaining in the school calendar.

LATE PAYMENTS

Monthly Payments. Families who choose the ten [10] month payment plan and miss a monthly payment due to insufficient funds will be assessed a Returned Payment Fee by FACTS and may incur a fee from their own financial institution. The missed payment will be attempted again by FACTS in accordance with the Terms and Conditions stated in the FACTS Payment Agreement.

In addition, families who have missed two monthly payments and have not made suitable arrangements within five [5] calendar days of the second missed payment will be informed that their child(ren) may not attend school until the account is current. Accounts on semi-annual or other payment intervals and whose account is behind by one month and five (5) calendar days will be informed that the child may not attend.

Tuition Refunds. Families withdrawing students prior to the first day of school will not receive a refund of the first month’s tuition. Any amount that has been paid beyond the first month shall be refunded. After the first day of school, tuition refunds shall be determined by the Board of Elders. There will be no partial month refunds.
