Stuart Davis/ Instructor Principal
Mr. Davis graduated high school at Elverado District 196 in Elkville, Illinois in 1964. He earned a Bachelor’s degree at Southern Illinois University, College of Education majoring in Biological Science in 1969. His post-graduate studies include Science Education at Southern Illinois University, Secondary Education and Christian School Administration at Pensacola Christian College, and Christian School Administration at Oral Roberts University.
Mr. Davis was Perry County Conservation Teacher of the Year in 1986 and a NASA Teacher in Space candidate in 1985-1986.He is currently serving as an Elder in Christian Fellowship Church, Christian Fellowship School Principal, science teacher for grades seven through twelve, high school Bible teacher, and senior class co-sponsor. Prior to coming to CFS
Mr. Davis taught science, spelling, and physical education at Elverado Jr. High School in Vergennes. During portions of his fifteen year tenure there he also served as gifted program coordinator, assistant to the principal, assistant junior high boys’ basketball coach, girls basketball coach, assistant junior high baseball coach, junior high and high school track-and-field coach, bus driver and janitor.
Mr. Davis has been married to Patricia Mae Sherman-Davis for forty-nine years. They have six married children (hence six children-in-law as well), fifteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Mrs. Davis recently retired from coordinating the CFS pre-school program and teaching four-year old preschool classes for twenty-eight years.
